Q: Wait, I thought MilkBoy was a recording studio?

A: MilkBoy started as a recording studio in north Philly in 1994. Since then we’ve opened two coffee shops and our downtown bar, restaurant and music-venue in order to more widely serve the music community. The recording studio is still the hub of the MilkBoy group; it’s located in Philadelphia, PA, at 413 N 7th Street.

Q: What kind of food do you serve?

A: The meat and produce used in our kitchens are largely sourced from local outlets, and much of it is organic. We’ve got a variety of menu options to satisfy everyone, including many vegan items. View the full menu here.

Q: Do you guys have milkshakes?

A: No, for the last time, no. Have a beer.

Q: Can I hold a private party at MilkBoy?

A:Yes! Email us at events@milkboypsouthstreet.com or call us at (215)925-6455. Our upstairs venue space is private, has a big bar, a full PA system and is beautiful! Our rates are low and our hospitality is generous and fun. We will give you the complete run-down in person, you’ll see that hosting your event at MilkBoy will give your guests something to talk about all year long.

Q: How do I sign up for Open Mic?

A: Show up any Monday and sign up at 7PM!

Q: Where can I park?

A: Anywhere in the city, parking is free on Sunday.

A: We'll tell you right after this shot...

Q: How do I get a job at MilkBoy?

A: We do this the old fashioned way. If you’d like to join our family we prefer if you bring your resume in person and ask one of our staff if we’re hiring and they’ll point you in the right direction.

Q: Is MilkBoy South Street handicapped accessible?

A: The first floor is. Unfortunately, the second floor is not, but please feel free to contact us if you’d like more information and we will try to be as accommodating as possible.
